Why Use a VA?

Why should you consider using a Virtual Assistant (VA) for your business?

Companies that have downsized over the last few years have learned to do the same amount of work (or more) with fewer people. This might save in payroll dollars, but what’s the real cost of these “savings”? Are you burning out your remaining staff by making them do more and more? Does your staff have to hit the ground running every day to get the work done?  Employers sometimes think they’re rewarding employees by giving them more and more responsibility. But do employees see it this way? Are these extra responsibilities bringing down morale (and increasing overtime costs)? Or worse yet – do they see it as a form of punishment – they’re being taken advantage of – because in this poor economy they wouldn’t dare leave their current jobs? And if you lose one of those remaining employees, how costly will that be for your business?

It might be time for you to consider hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA). As the name implies, a VA is not physically located in a client’s office, but typically works out of their home, using their own equipment. Virtual Assistants are educated, motivated, resourceful business owners dedicated to the success of our clients.

A VA can assist in many of the day-to-day tasks and relieve your overworked staff. Or, if you have a project coming due and need temporary help a VA might be just the ticket – without having to pay for a minimum number of hours per day that an employment agency would charge.

VirtualMEG can handle those administrative tasks, giving your regular staff a much-needed break and allowing them to focus on the things they do best.
